Now lets look at the opposite side of the spectrum--with the anti-war ditty, "I Didn't Raise My Boy to be a Soldier", by the Peerless Quartet (I know what you're thinking--those clowns again?!), lead vocals by Henry Burr. It would appear as though Mr. Burr made his living by making others cry (that sounds like a good gig!), and in my opinion, he does a very good job of reaching the heartstrings. This song was released on Columbia A1697, and is personally my favorite over Morton Harvey (though his recording is pretty good too).
